I'm a fan of the Game Shadow Hearts 2. I know the backstory to the first, and info on the presqeul, Koudelka.
But I the kind of guy who would jump at the chance to read a Manga based on the main star of Koudelka. To those who wants to read, vist stoptazmo.com.

I finally saw the anime I waited for, Air Gear, recently. Better than I thought, but doesn't hold a candle to the manga.
I also scored Mp3 of AG's opening and a BC song I been searching for. Check http://gendou.com/ for all your anime music needs!
But serioulsy, recently we went on a 2 hour drive to sis's college to bring some stuff back. Now my other sister had to be back in time to pick up her daughters from school. Sis A took all of us walking around the college to show sister B. Needless to say A didn't care about the time. That didn't go well with my mom. The next five minutes were spent with Mom and A pissing each other off. When we got back, there was a line for the trolly that wasn't there when we left. So what did we do? We brought it back down by hand.
I won't lie, I been lazy all year. But I still have some muscle under the fat. But walking on uneven terrain when not used to it is a pain. Even the light fridge seemed heavy to me.
Wonder how her dorm looks like my old room when she spent one year with less stuff when I spent more than five in my old room? Or better yet why Mom, sis B, and me carried every?

I decided that this might be held in a different place than Kraken's Journal. This may be held differently than Kraken's contest, or might be entered in it.
So for those who don't know, this is a Round Robin type challenge based off of Kraken's Naruto Fanfic Challenge. Every contestant will put up a chapter, with the winner becoming the offical chapter of the story. The winner will be chosen on a point system, with three points for each Judge's Choice, one point for each non-judge. Authors who vote for their story count as 0.
Judges are chosen by me by two factors: Author experience, or previous proof of their compentence. Judges CAN enter a chapter, but their votes are treated as a nonjudge until the voting for that chapter ends.
No copying other people's works, that IS illegal and bannable.

I won't lie, although there is an overabundance of Sasu/naru, Ol' Naruto is considered a ladies man due to the sheer number of fanfiction pairings. While Shik/ino and shik/tem are more abundant, Naruto is in fics with all the ladies (well, execpt the filler chicks, but the only good things from it is an almost nude Hinata and Isarubi's arc). But I do mean I seen fics where he has a relation ship with EVERYONE of the girls.
Anko, that purple haired ANBU chick, Ino, Kurenai, Shizune, Sakura, Hinata, Hana (kiba's sister),Tenten, Temari, Ocs, Ayame, Ino's mother (I'm not making it up!), Kin, Fem Haku, Bleach girls (Tasuki and Nami), Kyuubi...
See what I mean? If you see a fic where Naruto and Tsunade are a pairing, you know that that dude can get anyone. And the latest Narutimate Hero proves it.
In the game you can actually date the female gender (only as Naruto!). The people I know you can date is: Anko, Kurenai and Hanabi.
YES, the younger sister of Hinata, who goes though a different hell than Naruto.
To qoute Lawrence Ho's GameFaq on Hanabi:
CyberConnect 2 decided to make Hanabi a playable character in this
game, which is quite nice, adding to a huge rouster of characters. In the game,
Hanabi's explored a little more than she is in the series. Throughout the course
of the game, you will take Hanabi on dates to eat food and give her gifts.
Hanabi explains to you (Naruto) that her father makes her train all the time, so
she never gets to have any fun. Poor Hanabi. With how Hinata turned out, I guess
Hiashi doesn't want Hanabi to follow the same fate.
Now the pairing of the two, while not as popular as Naru/Hina, is what most consider better. It infact ranks on what I call the the 'believable three' (Naru/ino, /Tem, /Hanab), which means the stories are usually above average in the Naruto fanfiction world. Which isn't saying much....
Who agrees with me that this pairing just became more likely? I got a feeling that this pairing has a Japanese fanbase.

If you know the legend of the three legendary royal treasures of Japan, you would know that the sword that Orochimaru uses is in fact one of them, the Kusanagi.
However, one more made an apperance: the Yasakani no Magatama. Where does it appear? The Sharigan.
The Yasakani no Magatama is described as more than one Magatama on a necklace, and a Magatama is a stone that looks like a half of a ying yang symbol.
No wonder it's so damn over powered...

I posted this on StopTazomo awhile back and decide to import it over here.
Four points in WHY it won't happen:
1) There has been no proof what-so-ever of Hyuuga inbreeding. Notice that in all the Mangas and anime episodes, it only shown one parent of a child (i.e. There is no pic or info on Hinata's or Neji mother.) Plus, Hinata's 'weakness' as her clan puts it, could not come from her rasing, as all Hyuugas are raised to be complete asses, so it must be an inherited trait or a hint of raising by a non-Hyuuga mother. What little truth we know about them is know from tiny bits of info and old noble japanese traditions from clans in Medieval Japan.
2) The Hyuuga is a japanese-styled noble clan, right? I doubt that Neji would be expected to father Hanabi's or Hinata's child, or quite possibly any at all, when he got that seal. If Neji did have a kid, odds are the child would be monitored carefully, and if found having the same potential of his father, remove from Neji's custody and adopted by the main house. See, most Japanese Medieval clans measures rank by the position they were raised or rewarded, as Mushashi's son is proof.
3) The biggest evident that there is blood brought in from outside the clan is another clan: the Uchiha, which came from the Hyuuga clan. I you believe that the Advance Bloodline are 'evolved' or is capable of doing so, it would show by the sheer number of when they were alive and that if the Hyuuga clan was around when Kohona was created (estimated by the fact that the First two Hokages train the Third and if the First created Kohona that put it in the max of 103) the most probable scenario of the sheer size of the Uchiha clan is multiple children of a union of a Hyuuga and either a normal or abnormal (i.e. bloodline) partner. If the non-Hyuuga partner did have a bloodline, then the Hyuuga was most likely a Branch house member, or if the Hyuuga was a Main House member, the union would most likely arranged, and the partner would be of a noble clan him/herself.
4) Notice that Uchiha clan doesn't have the Seal Neji does. Unless the Uchiha came into being before the Hyuuga starting the branding of the Branch house, the question we half to ask is why is they free and alive, most likely the ancestors did not show hints of the Byakugan and were kicked out or sent to the closest non-Hyuuga relative. For this to happen, the event that the Byakugan was not inhereted would have to be more than rare, or they would have slapped a seal on them to prevent a dormaint awakening down the line.

You know the feeling that you agree with someone, but they are, for lack of a word, extremists? Like comparing Ghandi or King with the French Revolution?
There are certain lines you don't cross. On the news today, I saw protestors at a funeral of soliders who died overseas. Problem was, they were both uninvited and did something that REALLY pissed me off:
You never add greff to the ones who lost family before their time.
A group of protesters have been showing up at these funerals, and preaching that they died because the US is hiding gay people. I hate Yaoi, I don't hide that fact. But that is too much.

What going on to prevent a protest war between pro and anti-gay rights when someone tries to put some at rest? Some states are passing bills to restrict the first admendment (thanks alot assholes). But so far, the government isn't doing what I call the good deed. No, that credit goes to bikers.
Yes, bikers. Normally portrayed as rude, ugly and vulgar (all lies, except the fact their patriotic), are the good guys. The Patriot Guard Riders actually shield family members from the assholes. And unlike the peanut gallery, the Guard ASKS to come. It's great to see someone honor the fallen heroes.

Alright, life has brought me lemons, so now I need to make a choice, make lemonade or wait until I find a guy (preferably a good looking chick) with Vodka and make screwdrivers.
I have a decision to make: I have two fanfiction ideas, both good.
First off, project Tsurugi, the story without a name, which would a complete rewrite of Naruto. It's basically one of those 'what if Naruto was raised up differently' stories. Problem is, I already scratched out 7 different openings, plus I need to find a list of Shinto's Kamis and some details of the priests and priestesses of said religion. The pairing would most likely be up in the air, and one of the center points would be a x-over (more like borrowing elements).
Next is Project Dune, title has not been decided (I need to choose one from the ones I got) which would take place after the time skip, and without going into details, will most likely put Naruto & com in a postion that the Akasuki is their least worry.
Now, for FF fans, I'll spoil FF: DC for you the final Boss! Well, no really what I expected...

| Review of Vandread: Dead too early? or The anime that Could but wasn't? |

I recently found this awesome anime on a site, so I gave it a whirl. Mechs, space, romance, humor, and a story made by the folks that made other anime like Gatekeepers and (if I remember right) Big-O. Unlike Bleach, Yugi-Oh, FMA and Naruto, this isn't based of a Manga. Actually the (crappy) manga is based of the anime series.
And it starts off with revealing the common enemy of the people of Tarak. Note that I'll be using the dubbed uncensored version.
Mankind's worse enemy is...
( Man's worse enemy is... (opening storyline, first episodes spoilers) )
Now for my rating. It has an unique and great storyline, I'll admit. The computer graphics in it aren't that great, but what catches the eye is the interaction between characters. However, there is one scence that I think they screwed up. At the end, when Hibiki admits his feelings, it seems, well...out of wack.
It's great enough to say that this is easily a great anime worth a 10, but the scence in the above paragraph (or is it I'm a Hibiki/Meia fan?) that I give it a 9.5 out of 10, which means it not perfect, but it's awefully close.
And as for the Manga, they changed the story drastically, took out a number of people that gave the anime some more Variety, and added two more characters. Supposedly, there are three volumes, but only one was released, so I can give it a full review. But on the good side, they did give characters new personalites and changed their positions in the story. Plus one of the Women I thought that would make an interesting pair with Hibiki activly pursues him.
HOWEVER, the flaws are all too many in the Manga. The Hibiki/Dita relationship was deveolprd to fast. The three Vandreads are lowered to two. Plus the introduction suck, plain and simple. Doesn't explain why or how Hibiki got on the ship, why Hibiki started talking to Dita in a friendly ways such as he did.
All in all, the Manga has it's moments, but unlike the anime, this is still a pile of crap.

Here a story my friend told me recently.
A while back, a friend of mine was surfing an adult fanfiction site (He spent a while after that being constantly called ero-sennin by yours truly until I found out that it contains fics FF.net wouldn't allow) and he came across a entry in, if I remember right, the Naruto challenge section. The Yaoi goers had a fit over the title.
YAOI IS GAY
Seriously, yaoi is gay. They're both reference to two guys interested in each other, right?
I'm stuck on the third chapter of RCB, and I can't get inspiration off the naruto anime fillers, and now stupid fangirls are swarming around, readin too deep into things that should be left alone!

People have been yakkin on and on about the dub Naruto on CN. Even without cable and a way to see it, I could tell that it would, especially when I saw a glimpse on it on Toonami's website. COME ON, WHY DOES IT SEEM THAT WHEN A ANIME COMES OVER HERE, IT SUCKS? Personally, it's the VOICE ACTING, not the censoring, that screwed it up. When I saw the preview, the biggest problem is that it screamed 'Old Kung fu flick' and they can't even get the name and a proper voice! When I see it, I'll decide on a final verdict.

Ever had the feeling that life hates you? I been 3 months without cable, computer, and no way to vent anger.
Well, even though I lost my inspiration for fics, I'm back with a upgraded hard drive, and until I find a job to prepare for college next year, free time. HOOO boy, this is going to be a LLLOOOONNNGGG year.

I got bad news for the Naruto fanfiction community, Flashfyre5 is officially left the ring due to the thing I hate the most in the Naruto fan fiction community, Yaoi. Normally I'm not Anti-Yaoi, but it's hard to stay that way after you see it for yourself. 75%of the stories are Yaoi. I hope a few of you are happy, you got rid of one of THE best Naruto FF writers!

First post here, so I might as well put a fresh of the head fanfic I wrote
Author's Note: This is the first ever story even hinting of this pairing! Even though I'm really into fayt/nel (I wish there was more) and fayt/maria (second to fayt/nel) this came to me. This is a one shot that takes place during and after the game and it's possibly a beginning of one shots focusing on M/F couples containing my favorite character,Fayt. Note that I will only portray one pairing in this.
Disclaimer: I don't own SO:TTEOT. I would, but Square-Enix beat me to it! I do own this story and...(digs in pocket)...fifty cents and a ball of lint!
It was morning when they left. Now it's currently noon
Normally Clair Lasbard wouldn't worry about her friend Nel going to enemy territory, but this situation easy qualifies as abnormal. Going to the Main capital of Airyglyph which she can hide easily in crowds doesn't worry her, but sneaking into a military installation and try to escape with two possibly serious injured people right under the Black Brigade's nose didn't count as one of the easiest situation in the her opinions.
'I'm beginning to wonder if sending those two engineers was a wise decision. If they ended up captured or worst, I'll have to answer to the Queen. Knowing Laselle, he'll try to make into a disaster if it happen. Then again, he would do the same if it didn't happen.'
Clair resisted the urge to chuckle as that thought passed through her mind. Laselle's distaste of everyone who came before him was legendary in it's own right. Sadly, if the blond muscle man and the cute blue haired boy did come back, they would get a large helping of it. She felt sorry for those two. Not that she got a small mountain of it. Laselle might acts if he hates everyone, but he sure isn't stupid. He knew that if he messed with her, that he would have to put up with her father. Slowly her thoughts turned towards the two 'engineers' from Greeton.
She knew how to tell how strong someone is by just glancing at them.
The blond, Cliff if her memory served her right, she knew had some battle experience. She could also tell that even though he acted stupid that he was hiding an intelligence that might rival anyone in the Crimson Blades. However, he still acted as a warrior instead of a engineer.
The blue hair boy, Fate or Fayt is she wasn't mistaken, was obviously a knight in training or whatever they called their warriors from their homeland. He acted as if he was raised in house that followed a strict code of honor, but even this showed that he was untrained in the ways of the world. Clair knew that the young man seemed shaken, but Nel refused to go any deeper into the subject. She hoped that he wouldn't let his honor killed him during his attempt at Nel and her subordinates' rescue. At that time the guard on top of the gate yelled on simple sentence:
"OPEN THE GATE"
Clair realized her fears was unfounded as she watch as Nel and her group approached the gate. Nel was taking the lead looking as if she was just coming back from a stroll. Behind her was the blue hair engineer carrying a exhausted Farleen on his back while, to Clair's amusement, Cliff was carrying a extremely annoyed and extremely loud Tynave over his shoulder (who was dropped after trying to bite Cliff). Clair watch as the blue hair walk swiftly past Nel and to a doctor waiting behind Clair, while Nel, follow by a sore Cliff rubbing his ear came and stood in front of Clair.
"So I take it went well?"
"Yes, we were able to escape with only a few scraps and bruises."
"Thank Apris. How is Farleen and Tynave?"
"I think that biting fiend," Cliff started as he pointed at Tynave getting up "is in need of having here head examine! She thought she wouldn't slow us down as we escaped! Seriously, I don't know if she's a woman or an alligator! Farleen is the one you should be worried about, passed out after Fayt lifted her up."
"The Doctor said that Farleen is fine." This voice came behind Clair as she she turned around to face the young man," She said that she'll be fine after a good night-"
He never got a chance to finish the sentence as Cliff was pushed into Clair, and Clair was pushed into Fayt, sending both Fayt and Clair to the ground.
"HOW DARE YOU CALL ME A ALLI...gator?"
It was easy to tell what had happen. Tynave punched Cliff in the back, Cliff push Clair by accident before stopping, and Clair fell on Fayt. However what was notice next shocked even Tynave. When they landed, Clair was on top of Fayt but the position wasn't what was wrong. They were kissing.
As soon as the two realized what happened, the two was up, backs to each other blushing.
"Man, Fayt! Barely a day here and your kissing a pretty gal! Seems like I'm rubbing off on you!" Cliff smirked as the two blushed even more at this comment.
"S-sorry, I have to get some s-supplies. I'll seem you later!" Fayt stammered out as he ran off.
"Now that I think of it, he didn't spit or cough, so I think Fayt has a crush!" Cliff smile widened as Clair got redder," and I think the girl has on-"
"CLIFF!" Nel and Tynave yelled as they began to beat him senseless.
"I'm sorry, but he's...just not my type! Besides my father wouldn't allow it!" Clair said as fast as fayt then walked off for the mansion. The next day the two refused to make eye contact. However she was wrong about a few things.

"BONZAI!"
A young boy with light blue hair yelled as he jump on the double bed, waking up the inhabitants in the castle's room.
"Dion! Didn't I tell you not to jump on the bed?" Answered a annoyed voice as man with a darker shade of blue hair sat up. The man sitting up was none other that Fayt Leingod. No longer considered a dashing young man, Fayt had grown up to become what the people considered the best looking man in Aquios and servant of the Queen of Aquaria as an adviser.
"Grampa told me to wake you up. He said 'If you don't wake them up and let them sleep until the time they usually wake up, we won't make Peterny until nightfall!'"
"Don't worry, we'll make it in time for the reunion. Frankly I'm worried your grandfather and your uncle Cliff will give you some bad ideas!"
"Aww. what fun is that?"
"Fayt, not all ideas my father has are bad." A silver haired woman said as she sat up.
"If you mean getting me stay..." Fayt shrugged, "Well, I can see how he hit gold. Dion, go ahead and get something to eat, will you? We'll be along shortly."
"It's hard to imaginre it's been six years..." Fate spoke softly.
"Six years since you came here, since you became the 'hero of the people', or since that kiss?" Clair said as she slid over and put her head on Fayt's shoulder.
"Nah, It's been six years since you became, " Fayt began as he wrapped an arm around her, "Clair Leingod."
The two sat like that for a moment before Clair put a hand on her flat stomach and broke the silence...
"Fayt, you knowit won't be too much longer before you have to put up with another."
